Reiki and Crystal Reiki Treatments

Reiki is a type of Energy Healing that involves the channeling of universal energy
(energy that is all around us) into the body for the purpose of self-healing. It is done by laying the hands in various positions on the body. Reiki is most often done laying down on a treatment (massage) table with the person fully clothed.

There are many reasons that people get a Reiki treatment. A few reasons include the need to feel grounded, relief from headaches and pain or to reduce stress. A few hospitals even have Reiki research programs and have found that Reiki can help relieve pain and accelerate the rate of healing after an operation.

Reiki combined with the use of crystals intensifies the Reiki experience. Crystals are used to balance the Chakras(energy centers) in the body. Although there is no direct manipulation of the body, people often feel the same kind of relaxation that one might feel after a Massage.

Treatments are recommended to be done on a regular basis. How regular depends on what you hope to accomplish with your Reiki Treatments. At your first appointment we will discuss what your goals are and I will work with you on a Reiki Treatment Plan. Your treatment plan may not only include Reiki, but other Healing treatments.

If you have never had Energy Work or a Healing Treatment, Reiki is a good treatment to start with.
